Injection Pressure Max and Injection Pressure Min
aPriori uses the Injection Pressure Max and Injection Pressure Min of a part’s material to help calculate the clamping force required for the part, which guides machine selection. Values for these properties are not typically available from material datasheets.
If you want to add a new material to your Digital Factory, and you cannot obtain Injection Pressure Max and Injection Pressure Min from the material’s specification, use the Injection Pressure Max and Injection Pressure Min for a similar base polymer. See the Plastic Molding material table in a starting point Digital Factory.
Injection pressure ranges may also be available from other sources, such as http://www.matweb.com.
